Career Board
The Career Board is a community job board and career networking tool for IrregularChat members. It connects hiring managers, referrers, and job seekers within the community.

Posting an Opportunity
Section titled “Posting an Opportunity”Describe the opportunity in your own words — AI extracts the details:

Section titled “How it works”- AI extracts structured job data from your free-form text (title, company, location, clearance, contact, etc.)
- If required fields are missing (title, company, contact method), the bot DMs you to collect them one at a time
- Once all fields are collected, you see a preview and confirm before posting
- The job is published to https://jobs.irregulars.io
Required fields
Section titled “Required fields”- Title — Job title (e.g., “Senior Security Engineer”)
- Company — Company or organization name
- Contact Method — How candidates should reach you (email, URL, or Signal DM)
Optional fields
Section titled “Optional fields”- Location, clearance level, compensation, description, remote type, tags
- SkillBridge eligibility, internship flag
- Military-specific fields (organization, duty station, component, rank, MOS)
Editing after posting
Section titled “Editing after posting”After posting, visit https://jobs.irregulars.io to log in and edit your listing with the full web form — including SkillBridge details, military requirements, qualifications, and more.

Section titled “Automatic Profile Creation”When new members complete onboarding, the bot automatically creates a draft career profile from their introduction text. Members receive a DM with:
- A summary of the extracted profile

- A count of matching open positions
Community-First Philosophy
Section titled “Community-First Philosophy”This board is for positions where you can personally help an Irregular connect with the opportunity — whether you’re the hiring manager, a team member who can refer, or have a direct line to the decision-maker.
If an Irregular reaches out about a position, the poster should be able to advocate for them, make an introduction, or at minimum confirm their application was received.
