Force Field Analysis

What It Is: A diagnostic technique used to identify the forces that are either driving toward or restraining a particular goal or outcome.

When to Use It: When trying to understand the factors that are influencing a particular issue, or when developing a strategy to achieve a goal.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  4. STEP 4: Assign values to the arguments to determine their strength. Calculate the total score to determine the dominant side. (Beebe and Pherson, 2015, p. 133)
