DragonOS

DragonOS is a specialized, Debian-based Linux distribution built for Software Defined Radio (SDR) enthusiasts and professionals. Its primary purpose is to provide a ready-to-use environment for SDR operations by pre-installing a comprehensive suite of open-source SDR software and drivers.

It is available for both x86-64 and Raspberry Pi (arm64) architectures, offering flexibility in deployment.

Getting Started

1. Download DragonOS

2. Prepare a Bootable USB Drive

Use one of the following tools to create a bootable USB drive from the downloaded .iso file:

  • Ventoy: Allows you to drag and drop multiple ISO files onto a single USB drive.
  • balenaEtcher: A simple and reliable tool for flashing ISOs.

3. Boot and Install

  • Live Boot: Boot directly from the USB drive to try DragonOS without installing it.
  • Dual Boot: Install DragonOS alongside your existing operating system.
  • Virtual Machine: Run DragonOS in a VM using the .iso file.
